If you want to speak to someone about your chems use, come for an informal chat at our drop in session every other Thursday from 12-5 at MESMAC, located in Leeds city centre

About this group

If you’d like to speak to someone about your chemsex or substance use, you’re welcome to attend our informal drop-in sessions at MESMAC in Leeds city centre. These sessions run every other Thursday from 12:00pm to 5:00pm and provide a confidential, non-judgemental space to talk, ask questions, or get support.

Chemsex typically involves the use of drugs such as methamphetamine (crystal meth), mephedrone (mcat), and GHB/GBL. While it is more commonly reported among gay and bisexual men, it is not the norm, and experiences vary. Some people may use these substances to enhance sexual experiences or cope with confidence, stigma, or mental health challenges.

We recognise that people may choose to use substances, and our approach is focused on reducing harm and supporting your wellbeing. If you are concerned about your use or simply want to talk things through, our team is here to help.
