In summary

MESMAC, Trans Leeds, My Voice, Pigeon, and Sapphic Bison are hosting a Trans Health & Wellbeing Day at Park Court on 31st October, offering hormone blood tests, voice workshops, peer support, and sexual health testing with a Halloween twist.

Date: Saturday, 31st October

Location: Park Court

Time:

Navigating healthcare and finding spaces that feel genuinely supportive can be a challenge. That is why on Saturday, 31st October, we are opening the doors at Park Court for a dedicated Trans Health & Wellbeing Day—a collaborative, safe community space tailored specifically for trans and non-binary people, including those using or considering HRT.

Brought to you through a joint partnership between Trans Leeds, My Voice, Pigeon, Sapphic Bison, and MESMAC, the day combines accessible, practical health services with space to connect with peers.

What’s On

We are bringing together clinical services, workshops, and wellbeing support under one roof:

  • Hormone Level Blood Tests: Safe, non-judgmental health monitoring on site.
  • Peer Hormone Knowledge Share: A practical workshop space to discuss experiences, management, and insights with others in the community.
  • Voice Health Workshops: Expert-led sessions focusing on vocal health and techniques.
  • Full Sexual Health & STI Testing: Confidential testing and advice from experienced staff.
  • Mental Health & Emotional Support: On-hand support provided by the Ash team to talk through whatever is on your mind.
  • Community Connection: A warm space to sit, chat, and meet others.

A Halloween Spin

Since we are gathering on 31st October, we are leaning into the spirit of the day with a lighthearted blood theme (given the test tubes!) alongside Halloween games and a best-dressed competition. Costumes are encouraged if you feel like dressing up, but completely optional—come exactly as you feel most comfortable.

Whether you need a specific health check, want to pick up useful practical knowledge, or just want a quiet space to be yourself, everyone in the trans and non-binary community is welcome.
