New Postal STI Testing Kits in York and North Yorkshire

Today is York Pride and we are launching a new postal STI testing kit for those of you living in York and North Yorkshire!
We’ve teamed up with our partners at YorSexualHealth to launch the new Preventx Smart Kit. If you are over 16 and live in York and North Yorkshire, you can now order a kit online at www.yorsexualhealth.org.uk. All you have to do is take your own samples and send them off to the lab to test for HIV, syphilis, gonorrhoea and chlamydia. The kit includes everything you need to take:
- A throat swab (for gonorrhoea and chlamydia)
- A bum swab for MSM and a vaginal swab for women (for gonorrhoea and chlamydia)
- A urine sample (for gonorrhoea and chlamydia)
- A blood test (for HIV and syphilis)
The kit comes in discreet packaging that will fit through your letterbox.
