What Does U=U Mean?

U=U stands for Undetectable = Untransmittable.

It means that when someone living with HIV is on effective treatment and has an undetectable viral load, they cannot pass HIV on to others through sex.It’s not just science it’s empowerment, truth, and a reason to celebrate how far we’ve come.

The data will be used only to support awareness and education work in 2026.
