Bradford

The GUM clinic is the place to go if you want a sexual health check up, HIV test or have symptoms which you think might be caused by a sexually transmitted infection.

GUM Clinics in the Bradford Area

People in Bradford and Airedale are among the first in the country to get quicker access to sexual health services - thanks to a new single point of contact phone service. Anyone who wants help and advice about contraception or sexual health services can call one new number to speak to a health professional or book an appointment-

Now people will have the guarantee of being offered an appointment with a health professional within 48 hours if they need to see one.

A team of NHS staff will take calls from 8am to 6pm, Monday to Friday, so people don't have to leave a message or phone back at a later stage.

  • Full Sexual Health screening (with the option of texting your results)

  • HIV testing, including rapid testing with the results available in 1 minute 
  • Hepatitis B and C screening 
  • Hepatitis B vaccination (for selected patients) 
  • Cervical smear screening where appropriate 
  • Emergency contraception 
  • Pregnancy testing 
  • Condoms/lubricant
